DPD raises more than $2,500 through the Pink Patch Project
The Duluth Police Department would like to thank everyone who donated and supported our first Pink Patch Project. With your support, we raised $2,853 with all proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society.
“I want to thank the public for your generosity in donating to this great cause,” said Chief Mike Tusken. “Everyone knows someone who’s been affected by cancer, and this is a way that people can not only receive memorabilia from the Duluth Police Department, but also support a great cause to find a cure to all cancers.”
The Duluth Police Department, along with agencies throughout Minnesota who participated in the Pink Patch Project, will attend a check presentation on Wednesday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the American Cancer Society office, which is located at 950 Blue Gentian Road, Eagan.
Next October, we’ll be back to raise money for the American Cancer Society through the Pink Patch Project campaign.
