City of Duluth to host vacation dwelling unit drawing on December 21

 [Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth will hold a vacation dwelling unit application drawing on December 21 at 10:30 a.m. The drawing will be live-streamed on the City’s Facebook page.

The City of Duluth has 60 vacation dwelling unit permits. The City Council approved an ordinance that allowed for an annual increase of units. Letters of intent were accepted for approximately 30 days. The window to apply closed on December 6. The drawing will go through the approximate 80 applicants that submitted letters of intent to assign an eligibility number to each applicant. When permit vacancies become available, the applicant who has the number one would be first in line to apply and so on.
