Individual Booked in St. Louis County Jail on Pending 3rd Degree Burglary Charges

At around 1:50 p.m., Thursday, December 16, Duluth Police Investigators arrested 36-year-old Duluth resident Jason Frey on pending charges of 3rd degree burglary. This is in relation to a garage burglary that happened around 12:20 p.m., Tuesday, December 7 in the 1900 block of E 5th St. Responding officers of the garage burglary spoke to the reporting party who stated multiple items were missing, including multiple pairs of skis. The following day, Wednesday, December 8, Duluth Police Officers responded to a different call regarding items that were purchased online that were suspected to be stolen. After further investigation, these items were identified to be the same items that were taken from the garage burglary in Tuesday’s incident.

Good work by Duluth Police Investigators for following through on each of these incidents to apprehend Frey and return these items to their rightful owners.
