Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force Investigators Seize Multiple Drugs in Search Warrant 

At approximately 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (LSDVCTF) arrested 39-year-old Duluth resident Alfonso Davis on pending charges of 1st Degree Sale and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. This is after the LSDVCTF conducted a search warrant at Davis’s residence on the 700 block of E 7th St.

Weapons were believed to be at the residence and Task Force Investigators were able to de-escalate the situation to ensure everyone involved stayed safe. During the search warrant, more than three pounds of methamphetamine, two pounds of marijuana, along with 70 ecstasy pills, 44 grams of cocaine, 33 grams of mushrooms, and a pistol were seized.

Great work by all involved to keep drugs off our streets and continue to provide a safe Duluth for all.
