Drugs and Weapons Seized in Search Warrant 
 
At approximately 2:53 p.m., Friday, February 4, the Duluth Police Department, Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 20 block of North 25th Ave W. During the search warrant, Officers and Investigators arrested 24-year-old Superior resident David Massoglia outside the residence where officers located a handgun on him, which was later determined to be a stolen. Massoglia was transported to the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of Felony Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, 1st Degree Sale of Meth with a Firearm, 1st Degree Sale of Meth, 4th Degree Sale Scheduled Two, and Receiving Stolen Property.
 
During the search warrant, Officers and Investigators also located 23-year-old Duluth resident, Joseph Graves hiding in a closet. Graves was arrested on a DOC warrant.
 
During the execution of the search warrant, police recovered approximately 57.6 grams of methamphetamine, four scheduled two amphetamine pills, other drug paraphernalia, and a rifle.
