Duluth Public Arts Commission projects light in Lincoln Park February 10 - 14

[Duluth, MN] Two light projections will be running simultaneously within the Lincoln Park District. The projection locations are the East facing wall of Aerostich and the West facing wall of the Duluth Children’s Museum. The Lincoln Park Light Projection project will take place from Thursday, February 10 to the 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

“Public art is important for a variety of reasons,” Duluth Public Arts Commissioner Noah Hobbs said. “What is great about these light projections is that it increases the number of public art displays we can have throughout the year and across the city.”

Artists include Kimberly Baerg, Ryuta Nakajima, and Aya Kawaguchi. Animations of the projections are made possible by Daniel Benoit and projections by Audio Visual Resources.

The Public Arts Commissions encourages the public to view the light projections and to come out and support local businesses within the Lincoln Park Craft District.
