INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 Block of North 34th Avenue West
On Sunday, August 15th, 2010, at 1:37 a.m., Duluth Police responded to a vehicle prowl that just occurred in the 100 block of North 34th Avenue West and a male seen hiding under a nearby vehicle. The male then fled westbound and was last seen hiding in bushes about a block away.
Police, with the use of a canine, located 25 year old Timothy Michael Hayes of Duluth hiding between the houses in the 3400 Block of West Second Street. Hayes was identified as the male seen hiding under the vehicle. Officers checked under that vehicle and found property taken in the vehicle prowl.
Hayes was transported to the St. Louis County Jail where he was lodged for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Theft, and Obstructing Legal Process.
