INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 block of S 27th Ave W

Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force Conduct Search Warrant and Arrest Two Individuals 

At approximately 9:40 p.m., Thursday, February 24, Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted a search warrant of a hotel on the 200 block of S 27th Ave W. During the search warrant, Task Force Investigators and Duluth Police Officers arrested 30-year-old Chicago resident Ezell Lucas for pending charges of a Felony No Bail Warrant from Wisconsin and 1st Degree Sale of Heroin, and 23-year-old Chicago resident Pharoon Witherspoon Jr for pending charges of 1st Degree Sale of Heroin.

LSDVCTF seized 56 grams of heroin/fentanyl and $1,863 in cash during the search warrant.

Good work by all involved for their hard work in continuing to take drugs off our streets to provide a safe Duluth for all!
