INCIDENT LOCATION: 1100 block of Minnesota Ave
One Individual Arrested in Cypertip Investigation
At approximately 11:19 a.m., Friday, February 25, members of the Lake Superior Forensic Technology and Internet Crimes Against Children (LSFT & ICAC) Task Force along with the Duluth Police Department, Superior Police Department, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Departments, and Homeland Security arrested 48-year-old Duluth resident Edward Day Austin in the 1100 block of Minnesota Ave without incident. This is a result of an ongoing investigation relating to a Cybertip Investigation.
Austin was transported to the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of eight Felony Counts of Possession of Pornographic Work Involving a Minor.
