Update: Formal Charges Filed
After a thorough investigation of a stabbing that occurred on Wednesday March 2, Duluth Police Investigators, with the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, have formally charged 35-year-old Duluth Resident Anthony Holloway on Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Child Endangerment charges.
“The Duluth Police Department continues to be dedicated and persistent in their victim-centered approach in these types of investigations," said Nick Lukovsky, Deputy Chief of the Investigations Division. “We will remain committed in this investigation, working with the attorney’s office and advocacy partners to represent the interests of the victim-survivor in this incident.”
The 32-year-old Duluth resident victim is in stable condition. Her name will not be released due to Minnesota State Statute 13.82.

Duluth Police Officers Respond to Report of Stabbing
At approximately 5:15 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to an address on Kenwood Ave for a report of a stabbing. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and suspect were in a domestic relationship. Responding officers transported an adult female victim to a local hospital where the woman is in critical condition. The male suspect is in custody and is being detained while the investigation continues. No further information will be released as this is still a very active and ongoing investigation.
