Enger Tower to be lit for Colon Cancer Awareness Month
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is proud to light Enger Tower in blue to support colon cancer education and awareness. Over 200 landmarks across the United States will be lit tonight in blue to support over one million colorectal cancer survivors as a part of Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Enger Tower will be illuminated through Saturday, March 12, to recognize the month.
The City of Duluth would like to thank Anna Dahlgren, a local colon cancer survivor, for her tenacity and passion for educating the public about this disease. Since her diagnosis, Anna has worked as an advocate to encourage the public about the signs of colon cancer and get screened.
