Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force Arrest Two

At approximately 1:12 p.m., Thursday, March 10, Investigators with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (LSDVCTF) assisted the Virginia Police Department, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, and Minnesota Department of Corrections in locating an individual with a felony Department of Corrections arrest warrant.

Task Force Investigators and Virginia Police Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and apprehended 26-year-old Aaron Ellerman in the 200 block of N 3rd Ave W in Virginia, MN. 36-year-old Jade Boshey was also arrested for outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

LSDVCTF seized a loaded handgun, spare magazine, suspected controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia during search of the vehicle. Additional charges are pending further investigation.

Good work by all involved in apprehending both Ellerman and Boshey without incident.
