INCIDENT LOCATION: 1300 block of 98th Avenue West
On Thursday, August 19, 2010, at 11:20 p.m., Duluth Police responded to the 1300 Block of 98th Avenue West on the report that an unknown male was attempting to enter the residence by climbing through a back window. The caller said the suspect was also seen trying to enter a neighbor’s residence as well as another neighbor’s detached garage.
When officers arrived in the area they located the male who took off running. A short foot pursuit took place and the male was taken into custody about two blocks away. He was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail.
Anthony James Quade, age 23 of Duluth, appeared this afternoon in Sixth Judicial District Court in Duluth. Quade is charged with two counts of Attempted First Degree Burglary, one count of Attempted Third Degree Burglary, and Fleeing Police on Foot. His bail has been set at $25,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is September 8, 2010.
At the time of his arrest, Quade was awaiting a pre trial hearing on September 9, 2010 for Fourth Degree Criminal Damage to Property and Fleeing the Police. These charges were from an incident that occurred on August 10, 2010.
