INCIDENT LOCATION: 600 block of W Superior St
Individual Stabbed Early Friday Morning
At approximately 7:35 a.m., Friday, May 13, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of W Superior St for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an individual who was stabbed. The victim was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained from the stab wound. The condition of the individual is in stable but critical condition.
49-year-old Duluth resident Thomas Orth was arrested on pending charges of 1st and 2nd degree assault. This is an active investigation and no further information will be released.
