FRIENDS OF THE DULUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY 41st ANNUAL BOOK SALE

Duluth, MN—The Friends of the Duluth Public Library Book Sale returns on Monday, June 13th with a members only pre-sale from 10 am to 4 pm. Memberships can be renewed or purchased at the door. The sale is open to the general public on Tuesday, June 14th from 10 am to 7 pm, Wednesday, June 15th from 10 am to 4 pm and Thursday, June 16th from 10 am to 3 pm. On Thursday, a grocery bag full of materials can be purchased for only $5.00 in selected rooms (Gold Room excluded). 

The Annual Book sale is held by Friends of the Duluth Public Library at the main library in downtown Duluth, a tradition started in 1980 in conjunction with community tours of what was then the new library. The first sale raised $3,646. This year, organizers are hoping to raise over $15,000.

The proceeds from the annual sale help fund library events for all ages including the seasonal Reading Programs, Take and Makes for kids and adults, and Kaleidoscope, a free outdoor summer entertainment program series for children.
