At approximately 9:10 p.m., Monday, May 23, Duluth Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 1000 block of E 3rd St. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who stated that another male approached him during his Door Dash delivery. The male, later identified as 33-year-old Duluth resident Teigre Collins, was holding a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet and vehicle keys. The victim complied and ran from the scene. The victim didn’t sustain any injuries from the encounter with Collins.

A short time later, officers located the victim’s stolen vehicle near Gateway Towers. Responding officers identify Collins from the victim’s description and detained him without incident. There was a loaded pistol and the victim’s wallet on Collins.
