Duluth Police Investigate School Threat and Believe Threat is Not Credible

After receiving community concern via social media, the Duluth Police Department would like to share with the greater community that we are aware of the school threat made by a student at Lincoln Park Middle School today. This incident was reported to a School Resource Officer and it is under investigation. It is believed that this is not a credible threat. Duluth Police Officers are in contact with the student, students’ parents, and are working with school administration. Our top priority is to ensure a safe environment for our students and schools throughout the community and we have protocols in place for tomorrow’s school day. This is an active investigation and no further information will be released.
