City announces Juneteenth holiday office closure and updated office hours

[Duluth, MN] In observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday, City offices will be closed to the public on Monday, June 20, 2022. As it is for other federal holidays, Juneteenth is a paid holiday for City employees.

Additionally, effective Tuesday, June 21, 2022, City department office hours will be open to the public from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. City Hall will also be open after 4:00 pm on days when there is a public meeting in the building after business hours or otherwise outside of these hours as needed. While some City department offices may maintain different hours (please contact them directly or visit the City’s website for current hours), this update standardizes City department office hours to better serve the public.

City staff will continue to work their normal hours, but offices will uniformly be open to the public at 8:30 am and closed at 4:00 pm (with the exceptions listed above). The City website will be updated and signage will be placed on public entrances to the building.
