SUBJECT: Duluth Man Suspect in Vehicle Prowl

INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 Block of West Fourth Street

On Friday, August 28th, 2010, at 10:16 p.m., Duluth Police responded to the report that an unknown male was just inside the reporting parties’ vehicle in the 200 block of West Fourth Street. The male suspect was last seen walking away from the vehicle. .
 
Officers located Richard Lee Robinson, age 21 of Duluth, who matched the description given of the suspect. Robinson admitted to being in the vehicle and was also identified by the reporting party. He was issued a citation for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Theft from a Motor Vehicle. A court date was set. 
 
In May of 2009 Robinson was sentenced to 8 months in the Northeast Regional Correction Center after pleading guilty to Attempted Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
