Councilor-Elect Hannah Alstead to be publicly sworn in on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm

[Duluth, MN] Newly appointed City Councilor Hannah Alstead will be publicly sworn in on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm in City Council Chambers.

Councilor-Elect Alstead was appointed by the Duluth City Council on July 11, 2022 to fill the 4th District City Council seat recently vacated by Renee Van Nett’s passing. Alstead will fill the position until the term ends on January 8, 2024. A successor for the 4th District Council seat will be selected by voters in the November 2023 election.

Mayor Larson, Chief Administrative Officer Noah Schuchman, and representatives from the City will welcome Councilor-Elect Alstead before she takes the oath administered by Judge Theresa Neo.
