During the course of this investigation, Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit, assisted by the Duluth Police Officers and members of the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, executed four search warrants on Thursday, July 14. During these search warrants, investigators arrested a second individual, seized three firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition. One of the seized firearms is a confirmed stolen. 23-year-old Duluth resident Randy Coleman was arrested on pending charges of Possession of Ammunition by a Prohibited Person.

“The Duluth Police Department continues to work tirelessly to hold those accountable for their actions and involvement in crimes of violence and the illegal possession of firearms,” said Deputy Chief of Investigations, Nick Lukovsky.

Good work by all the investigators involved for their hard work and dedication to safely execute these search warrants and take weapons off our streets.
