INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 block of 131st Ave W

Juvenile Male Arrested on Pending Charges 

At approximately 3:51 p.m., Saturday, July 23, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 131st Ave W for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting party who stated they were meeting with a male to sell him a phone. The reporting party said that’s when the male pulled a gun on them and demanded the phone and ran. Officers set up a perimeter and located the male, later identified as a 17-year-old juvenile male. He was apprehended without incident and will be transported to the Arrowhead Juvenile Center for pending charges of aggravated robbery and 2nd degree assault. This is still an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
