Duluth Police, with assistance from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Apprehend Individual
At approximately 12:15 a.m., Saturday, July 30, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of E 4th St for three individuals hit by a vehicle that left the scene. Upon arrival, officers located three individuals with injuries. One victim, a 53-year-old male, sustained a broken leg, the other victim, a 41-year-old male sustained minor injuries, and a 53-year-old male sustained unknown injuries.
Officers speak to witnesses who give a description of the vehicle involved. A short time later, St. Louis County Deputies located the vehicle and the suspect at her residence on the 3000 block of W Tisher Road. The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Desirae Hansey, was apprehended without incident. Hansey will be booked at the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault, Criminal Vehicular Operation, Hit and Run, and 5th Degree Assault.
