Utility upgrades to temporarily close small portion of N 1st Avenue E near Historic Old Central School
The City of Duluth will temporarily close a section of N 1st Avenue E between E 2nd and E 3rd Streets on Tuesday, August 30 in order to allow a contractor to make upgrades to the utilities at the historic Central High School. The east side of N 1st Avenue E will remain open to pedestrian traffic.
Work is scheduled to last through Friday, September 9, 2022. City crews will attempt to minimize disruption to impacted residents. The City thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
