INCIDENT LOCATION: West Central Entrance and Trinity Road
Today, Thursday, August 13, 2009, Harold Edward Nelson, age 83 of Duluth, passed away as a result of the injuries he received in the Motor Vehicle-Pedestrian Personal Injury Accident that occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, August 10, 2009. Nelson was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth where he remained until the time of his death.
The investigation into the accident continues by the Duluth Police Department Traffic Office.
