Commendation Ceremony/Chief Swearing In Ceremony

The Duluth Police Department’s Commendation Ceremony and the Swearing In Ceremony for Chief Mike Ceynowa will be held on Friday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Public Safety Building Training Room (2030 North Arlington Avenue).

This ceremony will recognize both professional and sworn staff who have been hired and promoted; as well as honor those whose work substantially impacted the citizens of Duluth. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Duluth Police Department was unable to hold a commendation ceremony in 2020 and 2021, and all recipients will be recognized this Friday.

Members of the media are encouraged to attend. This event will also be live-streamed on the Duluth Police Department’s Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/DuluthMNPolice).
