City of Duluth to hold Oath of Office ceremony for Duluth African Heritage Commission
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth will hold an Oath of Office ceremony for the swearing-in of five Commissioners of the Duluth African Heritage Commission on November 2 at 5:00 pm at City Hall in the Mayor’s Reception Room. Speakers will include Mayor Larson, with the event held as an open event to celebrate with community. Commissioners being sworn are:

Vannie Hayden
Bernice Pepper
Jeanine Schroer
The purpose of the Duluth African Heritage Commission is to ensure that the views of the African Heritage community are incorporated in the decision making, future planning, and stewardship of the City of Duluth.
