INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 block W 3rd St
Duluth Police Arrest Individual Without Incident
At approximately 2:05 a.m., Sunday, November 13, Duluth Police Officers were in the 100 block of W 1 St when they heard the sound of shots fired and observed multiple people run from the area. People pointed out a vehicle to officers, who conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. 25-year-old Sanchez Urrutia was arrested without incident for pending charges of Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm without a Permit, and Possession of a Firearm without a Serial Number. A firearm was located in the vehicle and was seized. Initial investigation shows Urrutia fired two rounds into the air. No one was injured in this incident.
