City of Duluth Temporarily Closes Library, CareerForce Locations Due to Weather

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is announcing that Duluth Public Library locations and the Duluth CareerForce location will temporarily close due to weather.

Out of an abundance of caution for the public and staff, all Duluth Public Library locations  will be closed on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 due to the storm and to keep the public and staff safe. Duluth's CareerForce location will also be closed for in-person services today. Today’s scheduled programming will not take place as a result.

Unless otherwise communicated, other City facilities will remain open to the public, though residents are encouraged to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary to keep roads clear for plows and emergency vehicles. Many staff are able and encouraged to work remotely, so please visit the City’s website for contact information of the department you may need: www.duluthmn.gov.

Facilities should reopen during normal business hours on Thursday, December 15, 2022 unless otherwise noted by the City. Please check the City’s website (www.duluthmn.gov), social media, and press releases for updates.

The City thanks residents for their patience during this storm and encourages everyone to stay off the roads unless absolutely essential to allow for safety and for plow crews to safely conduct their work.
