City of Duluth Temporarily Closes Library and CareerForce Locations Tomorrow Due to Weather

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is announcing that Duluth Public Library and Duluth CareerForce locations will temporarily close tomorrow due to weather.

Out of an abundance of caution for the public and staff, all Duluth Public Library and Duluth CareerForce locations will be closed on Thursday, December 15, 2022 due to the weather conditions and to keep the public and staff safe. Scheduled programming will not take place as a result. Additionally, the ComfortSystems lobby will be closed for walk-in customers on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Business can still be conducted online or by phone (www.comfortsystemsduluth.com). There is also a drop box located by the entrance doors if residents would like to drop off payment. 

Unless otherwise communicated, other City facilities will remain open to the public, though residents are encouraged to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary to keep roads clear for plows and emergency vehicles. Many staff are able and encouraged to work remotely, so please visit the City’s website for contact information of the department you may need: www.duluthmn.gov.

Facilities should reopen during normal business hours on Friday, December 16, 2022 unless otherwise noted by the City. Please check the City’s website (www.duluthmn.gov), social media, and press releases for updates.

The City thanks residents for their patience during this storm and encourages everyone to stay off the roads unless absolutely essential to allow for safety and for plow crews to safely conduct their work.
