Duluth Police Officer Jeremy O’Connor and ‘K9 Partner’ Participate in this year’s Polar Plunge
Members of the Duluth Police Department are participating and volunteering again in the annual Duluth Polar Plunge. This year, Duluth Police Officer Jeremy O’Connor will be taking the plunge with a life-sized stuffed version of his partner, K9 Kallie.
“Fundraising for the Minnesota Special Olympics means a lot to me and being a role model to the athletes is rewarding,” said Officer O’Connor. “I’m excited to take the plunge for the first time ever this year with a real-life-sized version of my K9 partner, Kallie.”
The plunge will take place on Saturday, February 18 at 2 p.m. at Park Point. You can donate to Officer O’Connor’s plunge and help fundraise for Minnesota Special Olympics by going here: https://reg.plungemn.org/team/duluthpolicedepartment.
