Duluth Workforce Development to host on-site job fair event tomorrow

 

[DULUTH, MN]  Duluth Workforce Development/CareerForce Duluth will host an onsite hiring event on Wednesday, May 3  from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at CareerForce Duluth, 402 West First Street, Duluth. This mini job fair will feature employers who are hiring right now.  The event also presents job seekers an opportunity to visit the Workforce Center, and learn more about all the services and programs they offer. Participating job seekers should bring their resume and come prepared to engage with recruiters on the spot.

A list of participating employers can be found here:  Hiring Now! Job Fair Series (duluthmn.gov). Participating employers include: Duluth Police Department, Lake Superior Zoo, YWCA of Duluth, the US Postal Service, Trillium Services, Essentia Health, and more.

This event is free to attend, and parking vouchers for the adjoining ramp are available to participating job seekers.

Due to demand from employers seeking qualified applicants, Duluth Workforce Development has added another Hiring Now! Job Fair, which will take place on June 7 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at CareerForce in Duluth.

Job seekers can also receive assistance preparing a resume or learning how to engage with a recruiter by stopping by the Career Lab ahead of the event.  The Career Lab is open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
