City of Duluth to hold news conference to announce selection for United States Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office award to develop geothermal district heating system

[DULUTH, MN] City of Duluth Sustainability Officer Mindy Granley will be joined at a news conference by Mayor Emily Larson and representatives from community partners Ever-Green Energy and Ecolibrium 3 at the Lincoln Park Pocket Park on the corner of 19th Avenue W and Superior Street at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, May 9. The City will provide an overview of the support awarded to the City of Duluth by the US Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office in its nationwide initiative to expand community geothermal systems at this news conference.
