INCIDENT LOCATION: Helberg Drive
Water Emergency on Helberg Drive
At approximately 12:15 p.m. Duluth Police responded to a water emergency that occurred on Helberg Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle submerged in the water with the sole occupant of the vehicle on the shore. There were no injuries related to this incident and the individual was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure. This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation.
The Duluth Police Department was assisted by the Duluth Fire Department, St. Louis County Rescue Squad, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Coast Guard, Mayo Ambulance, and Lake City Towing.
