Torch Run for Special Olympics Minnesota
The annual Torch Run to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Minnesota will be Wednesday, June 21. The Duluth Police Department will join other law enforcement personnel from across Minnesota and relay the ‘Flame of Hope’.
DPD will be passing the torch at noon at Priley Circle at City Hall. Special Olympic athletes will be participating in this year’s event. The public is encouraged to come to support the runners and bikers who’ll be the ‘Guardians of the Flame.’
