DEDA extends application deadline for Small Business Marketing Match Grant Program

 

[DULUTH, MN] The application deadline for the Duluth Economic Development Authority’s Marketing Match Small Business Grant Program has been extended. Applications for this grant program will now be accepted through September 24.

 

The goal of the Marketing Match Small Business Grant Program is to support entrepreneurs and small businesses through grants for 20 businesses up to $5000 for business marketing assistance for eligible expenses.

 

“DEDA is proud to support small business marketing efforts as Duluth continues to grow and change,” said DEDA President ChaQuana McEntyre. “This program will extend DEDA’s efforts to reach small businesses in need of support of funding to reach new customers and provide options for co-investment in local business. Through this marketing assistance, DEDA hopes to provide options for job growth and business expansions throughout the city.”

 

Applications will be scored on business marketing plan, financial need, capability in meeting key City priorities such as improving equity, providing for business retention or expansion in core investment areas, and supporting businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications will be accepted through September 24.
