Inspections planned for Aerial Lift Bridge on Monday and Tuesday, traffic delays and one-way traffic closures expected

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge will be undergoing routine inspections with MNDOT crews on Monday, September 18 and Tuesday, September 19. Traffic will be restricted to one-way traffic across the bridge between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on both days. Traffic will be directed by the signal lights at the bridge during the one-way traffic restriction periods. Additionally, pedestrian traffic will be restricted to only one side of the bridge during these periods, and the open side will alternate as work is performed.

 

The bridge will operate its normal lifting schedule for marine traffic on both days.
