Swearing In and Promotion Ceremony
On Friday, December 1, at 2 p.m., the Duluth Police Department will be swearing in nine officers and promoting two Investigators to Patrol Sergeant. The nine new recruits are Irael Balderas, Alex Holmstrom, Matthew Anderson, Lincoln Bailey, Tyler Odden, Jon Hansen, Addie Young, Sami Hussein, and Daniel Walker, and Joel Hopps and Chris Beekmann will be promoted during the ceremony as well.
The Swearing-In and Promotion Ceremony will be held at Clyde Iron Event Center (2920 W Michigan St) and it’ll also be live-streamed via Facebook Live (@DuluthMNPolice).
The media is invited to attend the ceremony.
