Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force and DPD Arrest Two Individuals

On Friday, December 15, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force were attempting to execute a search warrant on an individual inside a vehicle. While attempting to conduct a traffic stop, 24-year-old Jolisa Henagin rammed into two unmarked police vehicles. Investigators quickly detained Henagin and a 17-year-old juvenile male, who was also in the vehicle.

During the execution of the search warrant, a fentanyl/meth mixture packaged for sale was seized, along with $606 in drug sale proceeds, ammo, and M30 pills.

The juvenile male was arrested for 3rd Degree Sale of Fentanyl, 3rd Degree Sale of Methamphetamine/Fentanyl and Felon in Possession of Ammo. Henagin was arrested for Aid and Abet 3rd Degree Sale of Methamphetamine/Fentanyl and Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle. The Duluth Police Department assisted in transporting the two individuals to AJC and the St. Louis County Jail.

Great work to all involved for safely apprehending these two offenders and continuing to take these substances off our streets. No one was injured during this incident.
