Two Arrested on Pending Charges of Attempted 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery

At approximately 11:20 a.m., Duluth Police Officers responded to a person with a gun call in the 300 block of W 4th St. While enroute, officers were notified the subjects fled the area and went to the 100 block of Mesaba Avenue. A perimeter was quickly established and two individuals, 32-year-old Christopher Richmond and 18-year-old Tremaine Taliaferro, were detained. Officers executed a search warrant and a firearm was seized. Richmond and Taliaferro were arrested and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of Attempted 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery. There were no injuries related to this incident. 

Good work to all involved for cooperating with all divisions within the department and bringing this incident to a safe resolution.
