Duluth Public Utilities Commission to hold public meetings regarding proposed water rate increases

[DULUTH, MN] The Duluth Public Utilities Commission (DPUC) will hold a public meeting by electronic means regarding proposed water rate increases on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at noon. Members of the public can monitor the meeting and provide public comment on the proposed rate increase through Microsoft Teams. To access the public meeting, please visit https://duluthmn.gov/live-meeting.

DPUC will also hold an in-person public meeting at the commencement of the regular DPUC meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 5:15 pm in City Council Chambers, located on the third floor at City Hall, 411 W First Street, Duluth. The presentation that will be given at the public meetings pertaining to the water rate increase will be posted on the Commission’s webpage for public viewing prior to these meetings. Please visit https://duluthmn.gov/boards-commissions/duluth-public-utilities-commission/ to access the presentation. The purpose of these public meetings will be to discuss the current state of the water utility, to explain the proposed changes to the water rates, and to receive comments from the public regarding the proposed changes. Please note that all public comment is considered public data.
