LSVOTF and DPD Execute Search Warrant and Arrest Violent Offender
At approximately 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force and the Duluth Police Department executed two search warrants. One in the 800 block of N 11th Ave E and another on the person of 21-year-old Xavier Pentecost. Prior history showed Pentecost was arrested for previously being in possession of firearms and is currently on probation for a gun charge out of Wisconsin.
After extensive surveillance of the residence for Pentecost, Pentecost was seen leaving the residence and was detained after a short foot pursuit. He was in the process of delivering fentanyl (M30) pills.
During the execution of the search warrant, 1288 fentanyl pills were seized, along with a loaded Glock 17 9mm, Gen 4 with a 30-round extended magazine, a loaded Springfield Hellcat 9mm, a CZ shadow 9mm, a Pistol Frame Micro Conversion Kit for the Glock, and ammo.
Pentecost was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for Aggravated 1st Degree Sale of Fentanyl and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Good work to all involved for safely apprehending this violent offender and preventing him from distributing these harmful substances to those in our community.
