DPD Responds to Six Vehicle Prowls
Duluth Police Officers responded to six vehicle prowls in Ely’s Peak Superior Hiking Trail Parking Area (123rd Ave W off Becks Rd) from Sunday, January 21 to Monday, January 22.
The suspected individual(s) gained entry by breaking the windows of the vehicles.
Nothing of significant value was reportedly taken from the vehicles, as all reporting parties remembered to not have their valuables in plain view and to lock their valuables in a secure spot, such as a glove box.
The Duluth Police Department wants to remind those who are enjoying public places to park in well-lit areas, lock their vehicle at all times, not keep valuables in a visible area, and lock valuables in a secure spot.
