Traffic Advisory: Fitger's 5K Race

The Fitger’s 5K Race will be held Saturday, April 20, starting at 8:15 a.m. Superior Street from 5th Avenue East to 8th Avenue East will be closed for race setup. At 8:30 a.m., Superior Street from 8th Avenue East to 12th Avenue East will close. London Road from 10th Avenue East to 21st Avenue East will close and South Street from 15th Avenue East to 20th Avenue East will close.

Parking restrictions begin at 7:00 a.m. on Superior Street from 5th Avenue East to 12th Avenue East, London Road from 10th Avenue East to 21th Avenue East and on South Street from 15th Avenue East to 20th Avenue East. Vehicles parked in the no parking zones after 7:00 a.m. will be ticketed and towed.

All traffic should return to normal by approximately 11:30 a.m.

The Duluth Police Department is asking drivers to use caution in the area of this event.
