Mayor Roger J. Reinert to deliver his 2024 State of the City Address Thursday evening
Thursday, April 25, 2024 | 6:00 PM | Denfeld High School Auditorium| 401 North 44th Avenue W, Duluth
[DULUTH, MN] Mayor Roger J. Reinert will deliver his first State of the City Address in the Denfeld High School Auditorium at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Music by the Denfeld Jazz Band, a welcome from Fifth Council District Councilor Janet Kennedy, remarks by City Council President Roz Randorf, and more will open the program, with Mayor Reinert’s speech immediately after.
Mayor Reinert will talk about five key issues in his speech: housing across all income categories, commercial tax base growth, streets and utilities, downtown Duluth, and affordable property taxes. Reinert will not only discuss actions already taken on these topics, but also work yet to be done around them.
