Public meeting will discuss Riverside community utilities and street improvements

 
 

The City of Duluth Engineering division will be hosting a public meeting to discuss future utilities and street improvements for the Riverside Community. The Riverside community was established over ninety years ago by Alexander McDougall for his ship building company. The sanitary sewer collection system and water distribution systems are nearing the end of their useful life and are in need of repair. The City is commited to improving and maintaining our aging infrastructure and invites public input on this proposed project.   

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at Spirit Lake Marina Office, 121 Spring Street. 

The meeting will address the scope of the work and project requirements regarding the replacement of sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers and street improvements. Staff will provide a brief presentation followed by group discussion.
