UPDATED CHANGE OF DATE: The Duluth Police Department’s ‘Get Hooked on Fishing’ Program Receives Donation
On Tuesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at Mont du Lac, the Duluth Police Department will receive a $8,000 check from The Larry and Donna Pulkrabek Foundation to help continue to fund DPD’s ‘Get Hooked on Fishing’ Program.
The outreach program allows the department to take kids in the community out on area lakes, even Lake Superior, to go fishing every Tuesday during the summer. This program builds positive relationships between officers and youth in the community.
