UPDATE: Travel now open on London Road

London Road is now open to traffic. MN Power expects to have power back on within the next thirty minutes. We want to thank the public for your cooperation during this incident.

Power Outages

At approximately 8:15 a.m., a Dump Truck hit a power line causing a transformer to go out in the area of 18th Ave E and London Road. This caused a power outage in that area. It is unknown how far the outage extends, but there are reports of stop lights at 21st Ave E and 2nd St being out. We want to remind those traveling around the area to drive with caution and be mindful of their surroundings.

MN Power has been called to the scene to assess the situation. It is unknown how long the outage will occur, but you can stay updated on the extent of the outage by going to the Electric Outage Map here: https://www.mnpower.com/OutageCenter/OutageMap
