This incident in no way reflects the values of Western Duluth, nor is typical of Western Duluth. Our law enforcement professionals will use all the means they have at their disposal to ensure our community is safe.”

"We want to ensure that members of the Duluth community stay safe in our neighborhoods and we will do all we can to ensure the wellbeing of all who live, work, and play here."

“The Duluth City Attorney’s Office remains committed to public safety in the City of Duluth,” said City Attorney Jessica Fralich. “We’re always working to enhance our public safety response, as the community’s safety is of utmost importance.”
