City of Duluth to begin work on the St. Andrews Bridge July 8

 

[DULUTH, MN] City of Duluth contractors will begin work on the St. Andrews Bridge replacement project on Monday, July 8. During the project period, St. Andrews Street will be closed to traffic between Columbus Avenue and Harvard Avenue at the Tischer Creek Crossing. However, driveway access to adjacent homes will be maintained.

The St. Andrews Street Bridge replacement project will replace a triple barrel steel culvert crossing St. Andrews Street at Tischer Creek with a new pre-cast concrete single barrel culvert and new roadway.   The construction will be performed by Northland Constructors of Duluth and be overseen by LHB, Inc.  Construction is anticipated to continue through September.  This project is financed by State Local Bridge Replacement Program funds and local City funds.
